Rhassoul, ghassoul, rassul...also named Tfal in Tunisian dialect which has more meaning ( from literal Arabic which means exactly the clay).
Pronounced "T'fal" is a type of clay which has that characteristic brown color (hazelnut), is a rich rock minerals and trace elements. It contains a lot of silica, recommended for skin elasticity, as for that of the muscles and tendons. The silica also provides protection of vascular walls and has anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and is therefore a good remedy for infected wounds. What interests us is the regenerating and healing properties of clay. This makes it an essential beauty product. Moreover we know all the Tfal which is used in hamam and cleanses the skin making it softer. It is very good for the scalp and hair untangles and nourishes it. Just mix of Tfal with water or rose water. |
